Boring Night

Date:  8/31/08
Time: 12:04am
Place:  basement

Have you ever had a boring night where the last resort was to play monopoly?  I can when do you ever play monopoly when you aren't bored.  The funny thing is that after you play for about 10 minutes  you start having fun, therefore your boring night soon turns into an exciting night.  It's funny but so true.  This has happened to me and my friends many times, especially in my basement.  I can only imagine what if we didn't play monopoly, what other game would we play?  God only knows.  So after the ten minutes goes by someone starts to build houses.  After that we are all in a bad mood again because who wants to pass the turn with all of the houses.  At this point everyone except the person who has the houses wishes we have never played this game because it "sucks".  Now that we have nothing better to do, the only thing that is looking good is the "GO", right past Boardwalk because you know you need that $200.  When 45 minutes is up, you are extremely bored and want to go home or asleep because you can not believe you just played monopoly for so darn long.  Everyone knows that another boring night of monopoly is just around the corner, so watch out!

Xbox 360

Date:8/30/08
Time:11:50pm
Place:basement

Games are not always a part of my life but I do attentionly like to play.  I have Xbox 360 and yes it is amazing.  The graphics are great, i think better than playstation 3.  I am borrowing my friends game called "Guitar Hero".  I quickly became obsessed with this game, once I start I can never stop.  There are 4 different types of difficulties, I managed to work my way up to Hard.  I find easy to be a wast, and medium is out played but hard it at the perfect difficulty right now.  To even think about playing on expert is out of the question, people who can do that just down right have no lives.  I stet up the Xbox in my basement, perfect because it is far away from my mom this way she does not have to beal with the noise.  My cat also flips out when she hears loud noises, therefore the best place to play and go wild is in the basement.  After I play this game for about another month, I will probably play it out, but for now it's great because I love it.

Cat jumping for joy

Date: 8/29/08
Time: 12:17am
Place: My basement

Ever since I had my cat, she was an indoor animal until the day she discovered the outdoors.  Having the screen door broken in the front of the house isn't a good thing, which is why my cat "Sierra" thinks of this as an escape rout to roam free.  I have seen her occasionally jump out and roam by the front steps but she will not leave the property because she is scare and unsure of herself.  Being inside her whole life creates her to be unknown to the outdoors which is ashame because most cats I know are outdoor cats.  When I seen her outside for the first time, I could tell she staired at the birds and squirrl's with her bulging eyes.  After I watched her make the first move to attack, I chased after her to get her back in the house where she belongs.  Hey, cats are curious which is why they explore all over.  I just don't hope my cat doesn't roam too far away from home.

The truth of being used

Date: 8/29/08

Place: My basement

To start off I own a 97 Chrysler Sebring that I received about a year ago after I finished drivers ed.  This car is my everything and I would not trade it for another, at least not right now.  But there always seems to be a problem.  My check engine light is always on, my mechanic says that it is ok but i dont trust him.  The shop called "Split Second", is now owned by new people, Mexicans.  Some times i don't know why I even try to bother bringing my car here.  In the past month I have brought my Chrysler there and I haven't seen progress once.  The owner hooked it up to his computer and stated that I needed a new cylinder.  A week after that it was still not fixed, and I, as the unsatisfied customer was pissed.  If I knew more about cars I would just fix them myself, but I know no never to return to split second.

A great night out!

Date:  8/27/08
Time:  12:15am
Place:  My room

After a long afternoon at college, time gently ticked away until 9:00.  At that time one of the funniest things must have happened which topped off the end of my summer.  First off my three friends and I all have cars which is amazing.  These three girls came to my block ready to hang out but we all didn't find them that attractive.  After a long half an hour of hanging out with them we decided to make a plan and ditch them on my block.  When they walked down a third of the block, this gave us to signal to leave.  I shifted quickly to reverse, then hit the gas and went all the way up to the main road.  My friends followed, while all we saw were three girls left in the dust.  They were left to roam while we had the time of our lives driving around town blasting music.  The funny thing is that these girls actually forgave us and stayed another hour, thanks to one of my friends.  In the end, it was definitely word it to get a laugh, plus girls always come around.

My first day of college

date: 8/26/08
time: 11:59pm
place: my room

The first time I walked through college doors, my heart skipped a beat and I could not believe this was actually happening.  This was not High School any more!  After ten minutes I felt relaxed and content with myself and was surly ready to endure the best time of my life.  I tried to give a good first impression to all of my teachers because creating chemistry is always better than being shy and saying nothing.  I am not a shy person, even though I intend to sometimes.  College is something different, where I can find my true self and start over with a new reputation with many other people.  That has to be a great feeling, its almost like being a new person walking on a new planet.  Even though High School is over, I have something great to look forward to, which is why college is a huge stepping stone for me.  This is where you make or break it and get prepared for the future.  I give myself another week before I become familiar with the whole campus thing, hopefully.  I feel like this is already my second home, a place to come when I have nothing else better to do.  Running, and Swimming interest me greatly which is why I will take advantage what the Grant campus has to offer.  This is my first day of college but never the last!
