Victoria Secret

Date:9/29/08
Time:12:03am
Place:My basement

Victoria Secret's is a key attraction for guys.  One you pass the store you want to run back.  It's a store to visit when you are with a group of girls or just your girlfriend.  The last time I seen a guy in Victoria Secret by himself was ages ago and he did not look to happy.  You always get those people who look at you and say like "what the hell is this guy doing here"?  Many men shop for the loved ones but I'm just saying it doesn't look to good when your by yourself.  If it was up to me, I would get a group of guy friends to go to the mall and then go in the store this way I wouldn't look like a looser.  When you enter Victoria Secret you heart imetely stops.  The girls that work in there are so beautiful.  They must hire the finest ladies so they can show off their best clothes.  When they say the girls attract attention, they really do.  Guys who go in the store have a hard time shopping because they are usually too busy and occupied by the girls.  Their train of thought slowly gets distracted by these beautiful ladies and then they gradually walk out of the store with a huge smile on their face.  The last time is went in the store was about 4 months ago with a group of my friends.  We stormed the place as if we owned it, walked around the place doing laps and then quickly left without any trace of evidence.  Our eyes were glued to the floor, trying not to make it obvious when we would look up at the girls.  I have go to say I have been caught many time but hey, things happen.

Towns

Date:9/28/08
Time:11:49pm
Place:My basement

After being stuck in your town for years, its great to get a view of other towns to see what's out there.  Especially, having a car helps a lot.  I bought a car about a year ago and I have about to explore different town all the time.  I feel like I am on a different planet because when you travel half the time you have no clue where you are going.  The other day I went to Kings Park to hang out with some friends of mine.  The area looked like a ghost town to me though, I had no clue where I was going.  Almost every town has the same type of design especially with the store.  Like, the "town plaza" is very common to go to in a town and every town has one.  I think you will know if you like the town once  you take one foot into it.  If the town is not very nice and welcoming you will probably get the hint right away.  For me, Kings Park was very nice but I still had no clue where I was going.  I do have a GPS system that saves my life all the time.  It's like my talking friend that I can always rely on if I get lost but I am shortly learning the roads more and more everyday.  When you enter a town, you always look for the town enterence/sign to make sure your in the right place.  I do not look for my own town sign because I have seen it a million times but if I went to another town that would be the first thing I would look for.  The town that I live in, East Islip, is very special to me.  I was grown up here and lived here my whole life.  I know where everything is and who everyone is in the whole town.  This fits me right in because I feel very comfortable with my surroundings.  Being friendly is very helpful in a town because it can save you from trouble and keep you away from getting hurt.  Small towns are especially important to keep close to neighbors because you do not want to create enemies with anyone.  Your house is your number one priority and you don't want anyone interfering with that.  The next time I visit another town I will be sure to take pictures to save the images of where I had visited.

Staplers

Date:9/27/08
Time:10:53am
Place:My room

For any kind of assignment you always need to staple it, especially if it's two pages.  I only have one in my house that always seems to get lost.  Never the less it's an old stapler from about 10 years ago.  I need to buy myself one of the nice fantsy staplers that won't break on me.  Also, just the fact of having more than one stapler in the house is much less agraviating.  If you finish say a five page paper, your next concern is going to when where can I find the stapler to staple it together because have your assignment in five different pieces is just annoying.  I always seem to loose my papers when the aren't stapled too.  I guess when I put the in my folder, they seem to float away or something.  It's just weird but when they are together I have a 100% chance of not loosing them.  In the next couple of day I am going to Staples and pick myself up about two more.  This will make my life so much easier.  Oh, and when you have siblings in the house your chance of finding a stapler in increased that much more.  For example, my sister is ten but she still gets a lot of assignment and when she is finished she need to staple them together.  She usually leaves it in her room, me not aware of where she put the stapler.  This usually gets me upset because when I need it, I need it "now".  I believe, if everyone had a staple in their own room, it would just make it that much easier and less aggraviating for everyone.  Or maybe come up with an invention that has a stapler connected to your computer, this when when you type and print the assignment you can staple it with not worries.  I have to say, the next time I loose my stapler in my house I'm going to go nuts!

Rain

Date:9/26/08
Time:4:47pm
Place:My room

Rain is another form of a disaster, which causes you to have a horrible day.  Today I was driving and these huge raindrops hit my windshield like bullets.  The bullets were so big that I could not even see when I drove.  After 15 minutes of driving, I had to pull over on the side of the road.  My windshield wipers broke off.  One came off so bad that I could not even repair it.  I had to fix the piece that connects the wiper.  I was stuck in the rain with no windshield wipers.  My heart was in the process of having a heart attack while I was driving was a pitch black road with no control of my wheel because of the rain.  You start to get nervous and tremble, thinking about how much longer you will reach home.  When home is you destination you know that you are not having a good night.  I feel that "rain" always ruins my night therefore I end up doing something like playing monopoly in my basement.  When you listen to the raindrops  you start to think about the appreciation of how water makes things survive.  People tend to think that animals and plants survive without water.  But, when the rain hits the earth you know that there is something out there which produces this things to live.  I personally hate the rain if a daily life aspect, but when you think of how much water is important to our planet, your views are shortly switched.

Homework

Date:9/25/08
Time:8:52pm
Pace:Living room

Having homework always stinks.  Many people always think of it as useless and not fun.  Yes, it can be boring but it does help you learn.  If you don't do your homework you will not be as prepared in class.  When you do your homework, you take your learning experience to another level.  Make sure your homework is fully done though.  Some people complete their homework, but "complete" can be writing down anything on a piece of paper.  You have to understand what you are actually writing down, that's how you learn.  If you don't want to learn, you won't, it's as simple as that.  I am very good on doing my homework.  Tests are my weakness and hw usually brings my grade up.  If it wasn't for hw my grade point average would have dropped significantly.  In reality I believe doing work at home is a great thing, as long as you don't receive an extensive amount of it.  I know friends who attend St. John's and they have nothing better to do than hw.  Their teachers pound them, day after day, with hw.  To me, that is too much.  Of coarse you have to put aside time at home to get your work done, but you also have to have a regular life.  Many people who are book smart are not to "smart" in the real world.  You have to receive two different perspectives of life and how to live it.  One example of that is, if  you have had many jobs in the past, possibly you are learned much more than if you sat home like a couch potato.  You have to get out and explore the world too.  Homework is super important but you have to know when it's the right time to put your face into a book.

Early to Rise

Date:9/24/08
Time:11:15pm
Place:My room

Getting up early always stinks.  The first time you hear that alarm clock you feel like the world has stopped.  The feeling of going back to sleep in so close, yet you know you have to get up right at that moment other wise there will be consiquences.  After you get up you have no clue what to do with yourself because you feel all messed up and out of wack.  You could still feel the tingly feeling in you feet telling you to go back to sleep.  But, you fight through it and stretch, until your eyes realize that it's daylight out.  The question of going back to sleep always come back to you.  In your mind, you are programed to know when to get up; it's not just alarm clocks that wake you up.  When you are used to getting up at the same time for a year straight you body is trained to get up at that time.  Believe it or not, you can wake up when ever you want to, as long as it suits your schedule.  I know people who have to wake up at 4 in the morning because they have to drive trucks from here to Boston and back.  They will have to plan on when they go to sleep this way they get enough rest because the human body needs at least 5 hours sleep other wise it cannot function properly.  When I think to getting up in the morning, especially if it's really early, I always think to myself if I am going to get enough sleep.  Because if I don't, that worries me.  I would feel as if I should return back to my comfortable bed with my soft "down" pillow and conk out as if I would in the night time.  You should actually take 15 minute naps during the day, but nobody has time for naps anymore.  Naps even sound babyish but it's true.  If you gave your body rest a couple times out of the day, you would feel more alert and awake.  Well anyway I have to get up early myself tomorrow therefore I should be getting to sleep. Shoot, I am only going to get 6 hours sleep.  Wish I could have gotten more!

Music

Date:9/23/08
Time:10:04am
Place:My room

Music is truly a way of live in today's world.  I mean everywhere you go, you see someone with an ipod on them or their headphones in their ear.  Music generates a vibe, a good vibe that creates you to concentrate or get in a good mood.  When you are feeling down, you can listen to the music that you like and this will usually bring that frown around.  I know because I have experienced it myself.  It's great because instead of listing to any type of music an ipod lets you listen to the music of your preference.  I love music, there are some many different types I cannot even list them all.  Some examples are hip hop, rap, r & b, spanish, and techno.  All these types of music have different types of beats which gets you going.  A lot of people listen to music when they run or play sports because it gets their heart pumping.  If music was never invented I do not know where we would be today.  The older parents of today society cannot relate as much because all they had when they were younger was a radio if that.  But people in today's world can relate much more.  Some people do not even think about how much they actually listen to music.  When you go in your car what is the first thing that you usually do?  Many people turn on the radio.  We cannot explain ourselves, but it's just a happy time in the course of a day.

Skateboarding

Date:9/22/08
Time:11:16am
Place:My room

The first time I ever got on a skateboard I hated it.  I soon came to realize that I really liked it, so I started practicing.  About 4 or 5 years ago I was really into it with a couple of friends from my block.  I went up to Ricks Surf shop to go and look at some new boards.  They didn't have anything of my liking so I ended up at Special Sauce.  There I found some many nice skateboards for great prices.  I even made friends with some of the people there, they were so nice.  When I got home I road all day, practicing my butt off.  I still had my other skateboard that my other friend gave me, I still remember the name, Alien Workshop.  That was also a great board to use.  When I started doing tricks I became very daring which wasn't too good.  I would try and olie over another skateboards or even two.  Maybe try a kickflip or healflip which was also dangerous.  One day I tried to land an olie over two skateboards.  The first time I tired, I was so excited  because I landed it.  I tried it again and again, but one time it didn't work out too well.  My back wheels hit the street off balance sending myself in a different direction I did not want to go, "back".  I went straight back onto the ground, my left hand hitting the ground first.  Before I got up I knew something was wrong.  My arm was broke and I was in so much shock.  I screamed out "oh my god, I broke my arm"!  Ever since then I never really took skateboarding seriously because I do not need another broken bone.  That just messes up a whole 2 months of your life.  Skateboarding should definitely be take way more seriously.

Sweat

Date:9/21/08
Time:10:03pm
Place:My room

Sweating in general is just horrible but playing sports and sweating I could understand.  For example, today I ran 2 miles for the first time in about a month.  I was pouring with sweat, but it was weird because I usually never do.  I was at Kings Park High School.  Everything was all messed, I was in a different town, running and never the less, sweating.  When I came around my fourth lap, I began to dog it because my lungs were about yo collapse.  I can relate to sweating in other ways too.  One of my friends just has a problem.  He can just sit still and sweat.  It's so darn disgusting, even to look at.  The first thing that shows first is his back.  I don't know why, maybe he is hairy there but it does not look good at all.  His shirt become soaking wet, like you dumped it in a pool.  I wish someone made a device where you couldn't sweat because it is so bad to deal with, especially if you are with girls.  That's the ultimate worst, I mean deorderent works but not to the extent if you play a sport, or if you run for hours.  I hope somebody creates a device fast, don't worry I'll but it definitely!  Next time I run I am going to bring two or three shirts to use and change into.  For my friend, I have no clue, he's going to need five shirts.  I think if people didn't get sweaty the world would be a better place all around.

Running Water

Date:9/20/08
Time:10:02am
Place:My room

When you brush your teeth you never realize all the water you waste.  You do not even realize how much time you take when you brush your teeth.  I usually take my time; it could even end up to 10mins.  I usually leave the water running because it is just 10x easier when I want to swish the water in my mouth.  When I have to turn the water back on when my hands are all covered in tooth paste, it just upsets me.  But it's not just me who does this, many people also realize that they leave the water running and don't care about it.  Usually, because they are not paying the water bill.  Your Mom or Dad usually says, "hey shut it off" and then they get mad at you.  I think that is very true but I still don't listen to them and keep the water running.  I love the feel the cold water running on my hands when I have to get the tooth past off because it is very refreshing.  I will try my hardest to keep the water off when I brush my teeth, but I don't know if it is every going to happen.  I am going to tell my friends about this but I doubt they will listen to me either.

Complications

Date:9/19/08
Time:11:46pm
Place:Mom's room

Have you ever had the most complicated week.  You always have more than enough things to do in one day.  For example, tomorrow I have work, a party, and I was also suppose to hang out with other friends.  I know this is not going to work out because I have work from the morning until 5 at night, and then the part is until late that night.  I am going to have to come up with some excuse to tell my other friends  that I can't hang out, or I can just tell the truth.  But who wants to tell the truth about something like they, they would just sound like horrible friends who want to ditch them.  Well when tomorrow come, I will think of something to do.  It is never easy, but I know it has to be done.  This is how arguments start because you normally side to do one thing instead all of them.  This is the way of life because everyone is so busy, therefore, we have to work around our schedule.  I hope than tomorrow goes well without any arguments because I am just not one to be cruel.  I always try to side things out with people and stay friendly.  Life is complicated, but in my case I know work is mandatory, my friends party is real important to me, and other friends can basically wait for another night to hang out so they will just have to deal with it.

New Bathroom

Date:9/18/08
Time:10:30pm
Place:My room

Getting a new bathroom could be very exciting.  My Mom ordered everything from Home Depot about 3 weeks ago and it finally came in.  My friend that I used to know from baseball when I was young has a Dad that I know who is a plumer.  He is a great man at what he does, which is why we hired him, not to mention that he is really kind, thats always a plus.  He was kind enough to go to Home Depot for us to pick the the pieces of the bathroom because he has a big truck.  When he came over with him helper, we were astonished.  Our has not been changed since my Mom and Dad had bought the house, 30 years ago.  It has always had that same browish, blueish color which got irrating to me.  We needed something new in the bathroom to make it "shine".  As he brought everything, I had to leave for work, so I couldn't see the finished product.  When I came home later that night I was so excited to see it.  I ran to the bathroom and was about to turn on the sink but my Mom said "Greg, you can't touch anything because it's not dry yet".  After that, I was so mad because I love touching new things and playing with them.  Oh well, I guess I will have to wait a couple of more days.  Now that the bulk of the stuff is in my bathroom, as that is left to do is to paint the walls, fix the baseboard, and get new sliding glass doors for the shower.  When everything is all set and done, I know I will be in the bathroom 10x more than I usually am now.

Goosebumps Books

Date:9/17/08
Time:8:54am
Place:My room

Goosebumps were always one of my favorite books to read when I was a kid.  The adventures in the book would be so scary that they would even make me jump.  Today, my little sister is now reading them.  I am very proud of her, that she is actually picking up my books to read.  I told her they are awsome books and she believed me.  She already read two, so I could tell she really likes them.  She even read some chapters with my mom.  Believe it or not my mom remembers when I used to read them, so she still has an understanding of them.  My collection of these books are huge, I must have about 30 of them.  They were in a book shelf on the bottom row, not doing anything.  They were accumulating dust, which isn't too good.  But now that my sister has taken them out from the shelf, the pages are being turned again.  I hope that everyone who has read kid books will eventually read a Goosebump book.  They are about 5th grade books, so the reading is not that hard.  If you are in 8th grade I think they are still fine to read though.  The author R. L. Steine was great, I don't know much about him but I sure loved his style of writing!

Accidents

Date:9/17/08
Time:8:40am
Place:My room

On my way home from school I always see many aftermaths of huge accidents.  Yesterday, I was driving on the parkway and I seen a tractor trailor bashed in.  My eyes were glued to the accident and I could not believe it.  I was also very upset because it took me another 20 minutes to get home.  The side of the trailor was so messed up, I also seen a toe truck in from of the trailor, which probably causes the accident.  These huge trucks should watch out and be way more cautious on the road, but people also have to watch out for them because they do not have very good control.  My friends dad drives huge trucks, but he usually goes out late at night when no one is on the road.  Leading up to the accident there were cop cars all the way down the grass, trying to make traffic more a little better than what it was.  When I finally started moving at more than 20 miles per hour, I said to myself I can finally go home, not that I wanted to or anything.  I just really had to go to the bathroom.  Events like these are major, and I hope never to see another one like that again because they are horrible.

Car Wash

Date:9/15/08
Time:12:42pm
Place:My room

Why go to a car wash when you can do it yourself and save money.  First off I generally enjoy washing my car, therefore it is not that painful to do unlike other people who cannot stand it.  I can't imagine all these people who take their cars to car washes and pay 15 dollars.  In the world that we live in today, I know that time is a huge issue which is why we have to get things done quick.  But if you are free, I would definitely say do it yourself.  As a young man, I like to keep my car clean, not because I like to show off but having a dirty car shows other people something about you.  Maybe it's the way you are in general, or your not organized, you can maybe even be a dirty person.  You do not want people sterotyping you based off of your car.  When I wash my car, I usually take make time because I do it with my other two friends.  When washing our cars together, it become fun, like a hangout session.  I generally use dish washing soap to wash my car because I always have it at home and I keep a sponge in my trunk and another in my garage just in case.  Washing the rims on my car have got to be the most important because when they are finished, the chrome shines so bright.  It is attractive not just to me, but everyone else that passes by my car.  My car is going to need another washing soon because parking under a tree sometimes doesn't help.  Bird poop usually splatters all over the back windshield.  I don't know how, but every time I wash my car there seems to be bird poop on it the day after.  This gets me so mad, but there is nothing I can do about it.  When it comes time to wash my car again, I will be sure to inform you.

Birds

Date:9/15/08
Time:5:21pm
Place:Living room

Watching ducks/swans/birds can be very interesting.  I went to my nearby town pond today because I was very bored and need to take pictures for my photography class.  I started walking around, finding paths along the way in every direction.  But, I soon noticed all the "birds" around me.  I could not believe that they all stay so close together, like a family.  And when you take pictures of them, you start to learn more about them.  Ducks and swans especially, were swimming around very close to land; a lot of the ducks would also come on land and walk around, following each other making loud sounds.  These sounds, or "calls" caught my ears too.  I was soon taking more pictures than ever.  They would actually come right up behind me, I was a little afraid but I knew they would not attack me.  I would definitely go back there to take pictures or just to relax.  I always pass by the town hall, but I never seem to go in and take advantage of the beautiful scenery.  I know people who go in there often, but these kids use it more like a hangout where other people can't see them, especially their parents.  This is very sad because these kids have nothing better to do.  Today, I seen a lot of park rangers, so they patrol the area very well.  I am sure they survey the area very well day and night so these stupid kids don't ruin the area.  I will probably go back to look at the birds in about a week to take more pictures because it is truly a beautiful place to go.

ripped jeans

Date:9/13/08
Time:10:25am
Place:My room

Everyday I have to find a pair of jeans to throw on.  I have about six pairs of nice jeans that I choose from everyday to get dressed.  My bloxers and pants are always the first to be thrown on, definitely before my shirt.  Some how jeans with rips are kind of nice, but only certain ones.  I can't believe that Hollister and A.E. sell pants like that for even MORE money.  I mean, wouldn't you think a pair of pants with "holes" in them cost less money.  Of coarse in today's world, they just as much as regular jeans if not more.  Whatever style is in, they jack up the price so they will make a greater profit because they know either way that we will buy them.  I have to say that I do buy ripped jeans, my grandpa would kill me if he knew but hey generations change, especially their styles.  I used to work at Hollister and I received a big discount once every month, but it was so worth.  Because every pair of jeans I bought, I would get 50% off.  So say from 60 to 30.  That is a huge difference, and a big savings.  Next time i think about what to wear, it might just be a ripped pair of jeans.

cloudy days

Date:9/13/08
Time:10:14
Place:My room

On cloudy days I become lazy.  My day feels like it has already passed and the next feels like it is already here.  I am usually bored and have nothing to do, on those I wish I had work, this way the day would seem like it would pass by faster.  Today, for example, it seems like it is going to rain.  I am glad that I have work.  It is a day where no friends are around which is why I would rather make money.  At the end of the day, the money in my pocket feels great as if I had owned the world.  Today seems like a day that will turn out like that.  Before I know it the stars will could out, then the sun will rise and tommorow will be here. Some people say they can feel it in their bones when it is cloudy out and is about to rain, but I can't feel that.  Maybe, only older people can tell that, I really don't know, it's weird.  Before I know it the day will be gone.

Hot Wheels Cars

Date:9/11/08
Time:11:05pm
Place:My room

When I was young, toys were important to me because they made my day go round.  I always had a shot attention span, which is why I always needed something to do.  A way to keep myself from out of mother's hands were to sit on the floor, set up race car tracks, and push my hot wheels cars down them.  This could take me hours if I wanted to.  The track would run forever, one time if ran across my living room couch to the enterence of my house door.  The cars would "zoom" straight through maybe catching a loop de loop on occasion.  I must have gave my parents so much free when by playing with these hot wheel cars; they must have thanked the lord for Toy's R' Us.  That was the hot shop for kids toys, today I look at the store differently because it has changed but back then it was like a playground.  To this day, I still have every Hot Wheel car.  They will always remain a memory to me which is why I will pass them down to my own children so they can appreciate the beauty of playing with cars.  I believe every child needs a favorite toy, to keep them occupied at the moment and also to retain a memory from it.  I know I sure have my memory!

AIM at it's finest

Date:9/10/08
Time: 10:55pm
Place: My room

I am the type of who is turned off by a girl when she is supper interested in you.  When a girl likes you its obvious, but when she just doesn't stop it gets crazy.  I mean especially when you haven't even meet the person yet.  For an example: Myspace or Facebook is a great way of meeting other people that you may like but in reality you never really see the actual person up front.  The other night a girl was talking to me on AIM; she origionally meet me through Facebook and I gave her my AIM.  When she IM's me, she starts off with heyyy baby.  I like to play around myself, but hey I'm a guy.  When a girl does it, it just turns me off.  I can't believe I actually talked to this girl for a good 15 minutes, but maybe it was because I had nothing better to do.  I also finished my home work, and when I finish my home work I feel so free like I can waste my time doing anything.  When I go on AIM later I home this girl doesn't IM me again, I mean I don't even know her name.  Girls today are so straight forward and act too immature.  They also tend to look older that what they really are.  Lets just say I hope this girl finds another guy to talk to because for all I know, I could care less.

air conditioning

Date:9/9/08
Time:8:44am
Place:Living room

Air conditioning is great, don't get me wrong, but it's something thats not in every room of the house because they are too big.  My basement for example gets extremely hot and there is no room for an air conditioner, so we have to deal with fans.  Of coarse we have heat down there, but that doesn't help us in the summer time.  I wish air conditioners can in every room when you buy a house.  It should be mandatory, so you don't have to suffer in extreme weather conditions.  In my house, we have two, one in my moms room and another in the living room.  They are both very helpful but when I am in my room I seem to get no cool air flowing into my room.  My mom usually has her door shut and the one in the living room can only circulate so far around the house.  Basically, my room heats up like an oven which stinks.  When I buy a house for myself in the future I am going to make sure that a lot of air conditioners are installed.  This your life so much easier.  In the summer time, people are running to Target just to get a couple of fans to put around the house, but in reality it doesn't really do the job.  I am actually sitting next to a fan right now and I wish it were in the garbage.  For some people money can be an option because they aren't the cheapest but I think to spend the extra money on something better is totally worth it.  People should save up their money for the necessities around their house to live a better, more comfortable life.

Taking a different kind of gym was a wise choice, yet again I had no clue what I was getting myself into.  It turns out this gym I took was the hardest one I could have chosen.  Well, first of all I am very athletic and lets just say gym is one of my best subjects.  My friend is also in the class so that should make things twice as interesting.  Our "Master" is a little on the weird side because by the end of this course he says, "he will change us for good".  His quote can mean many of which, but I leaning towards the side of getting through to us, through our inner feelings.  If we a hot head type of guy/girl or even the opposite he will "set us straight".  I actually wish my other friend was in the class too because he can really use some dicipline, that would just make my day.  Next week I do not have to go to karate because it is all college day and the week after is a holiday, so I will miss it a lot.  I can't wait until we actually get started with learning tenquines.  Blocking and punching strategies should be fun and exiting to lean.  The teacher sounds like he has many fun activities for us and I am 100% ready to lean them.  Like I said, I am very athletic and this should improve my status much more.  Learning new and exciting things never hurts.  I have to remember to keep my shoes off before I walk on to the floor because it is one of his main rules.  He has many rules, 10 in all.  If we obey his rules and commands we should be fine.  I think I am able to get a 100 in this class but I am not going to speak too soon.  Things are harder than they look which is why you have to take things slow.  Just like he said, "he will teach us in a steeping stone matter, piece by piece".  That is fine with me because I think that is a great stregety to lean by.  Karate is going to be so fun and I cannot wait!

Rocking chair

Date:9/7/08
Time:10:06pm
Place:Living room

Whenever you sit down and feel uncomfortable, it just makes the rest of my night miserable.  Right now this wooden chair is bothering me so much.  My mom bought it from a garage sale which makes it even worse.  When I sit on it, the wooden legs cave in, creating my chair not to move back and forth well.  It's a rocking chair that doesn't rock.  This gets me very upset, because I like to feel comfortable and relaxed at night.  I am not in the mood to mess around with things, especially chairs.  I rather just move to a bed right now where I cannot be bothered.  If i don't think about it, the feeling of sitting on the chair will go away, but for now I would rather not have to worry.  When I save up enough money I am going to buy my own rocking chair this way I will not have to deal with this mess any more.  A lesson learned will be never to buy used things from a garage sale again because most of the time they are broken.  I mean, you don't even have a warranty where you can return it so what is the use.  Saving some money could be nice, but I rather spend some more money to get a better, longer lasting product.

Block party

Date:9/7/08
Time:9:54pm
Place:My room

When I pulled up in my friends car I did not want to step out into the open.  There were people everywhere and I did not see anyone I knew.  We finally made the decision of walking down the street after ten minutes.  My friend and I were looking for our other friend, it was a girl.  But, we had a problems, we did not know know where she lived.  There were about ten houses on the block and we seemed lost and left out of place.  Someone invented the use of a cell phone which is why we kept calling this girl, but no she wouldn't pick up her phone.  After walking down the block for a good while I finally spotted this girl "Ashley".  I never felt so happy to see a girl in my life.  When we got settled and meet her other friends, things started falling into place and after we knew it my friend and I were having a blast.  The DJ played awsome music and games to get us moving.  Dancing makes the might go round which is why we brought the party.  There can never be an excelled party if my friends and I aren't there.  We light up the sky, creating friends and bringing excitement to the dance floor.  Food is a great part of my night because I love to eat.  Even though I am skinny, there is always room for another plate of food.  This girls parents were extremely kind, letting us eat what ever we wanted.  I have never been in so much glory in my entire life.  the party started settling down around 9:30 because the DJ had to pack up her bags and get moving.  Once the DJ leaves, the block party settles down rapidly.  In all, I had the time on my life, block party will and always be an awsome event to attend to.

Friends house

Date:9/5/08
Time:10:53pm
Place:Friend's upstairs room

Playing rock band can be fun, especially when you have more than one person playing.  Right now we have three and and it's great!  Two of my friends were playing the drums and singing while I was on the guitar.  My friend just bought the game two days ago, so it's new to us even though the game been out for a while.  Right now one of my friends passed out on the couch and my other friend is still playing.  I do not know how he can play forever, because my eyes always get watery and bother me.  So, I am in the corner of the room right now writing my blog, waiting until I go home because I can't wait to go to sleep either.  My friend just finished the song he was playing and honestly I think I am way better than him, but I'm not going to argue with him because I know I won't win.  Well, I still can't believe I have connection on my labtop  because a couple of minutes ago the bars were flashing.  I hope I am able to post this before I loose connection, that would stink.  In a minute I am going to sneak downstairs to try and get cookies from his cabinet even though there is never any.  I think when ever we come over his house, he hides them from us but that's just my hypothesis.  These cookies are going to taste so wonderful because I am extremely hungry.  Ok, I am making a move down the stairs. Yumm!

Channel 33

Date:9/4/08
Time:11:03pm
Place:Livingroom

Watching T.V. for me is very unusual because I never have time to watch it, or I am not interested what is on.  Most of my leisture time goes to the computer, playing a game system, or hanging out with friends.  Right now I am actually watching t.v. because I pulled out my "pull out" coutch that is in my living room and the t.v. was already on due to my sister.  I do not even know what is on right now but I can't stop watching because the show is actually pretty funny.  I believe this is channel 33, I have to admit that some kiddy shows are very enjoyable because there can be so "grown up" jokes that the little kids will not understand.  The show is talking about summer school and is taking place in a classroom with 5th graders.  They do not take the english class seriously and are now throwing paper balls at the teacher.  I still cannot believe I am laughing at this show and I do not even know what show it is.  The funny part is that i will probably never see this show again or find out the name of it.  When I was young, channel 33 was one of my favorites and I can defenitily tell why.  Watching random shows can sure be enjoyable even though you still might fall asleep during them.

Work

Date:9/3/08
Time:11:29am
Place:Basement

Having work four times a week really stinks, in my case I receive above minimum wage so it's not incrediably that bad.  My money usually goes towards gas, food, clothes and a couple of minor bills.  I actually like to work for my money because when I buy my own things I appreciate them more.  For example: My friend gets many items that he wants by just asking his parents for them.  I can surly tell that he appreciates his belongings way less than I do.  Working is a way of life; I started working when I was only 15 so I know what it is all about.  I have more experience than a lot of my friends, which I see as a huge advantage.  Sometimes work can be a positive because it keeps me out of trouble.  If I had to look back 3 years ago, I believe I made the right choice of obtaining a job.

Feeling of Youth

Date:  9/2/08
Time:  11:11
Place:  Kitchen

Have you ever been in a classroom or just hung out with friends and you felt like the youngest one of the group?  Today, I had my first astronomy class at SCCC and no joke there were 30yr olds.  I could not believe my eyes.  I truly think I was the youngest one in the room and usually I am the oldest, well hanging out with my friends that is.  I am 18 and most of my other friends are 17 and 16 but it's ok.  After I sat in the class for 15mins I thought I was going to feel awkward but I was comfortable with my surrounded.  Sometimes it is better to be with older people  because it makes you feel more mature about yourself.  Today was a start of a new journey and I am totally ready for it.  When I look back with hanging out with kids that were 16, I cant believe I actually did even though they were my friends.  But when you start to be around older people I guess you just cant go back to hanging out with younger kids because you feel like too much of a kid again.  Being an adult can surly can your lifestyle but I sometimes wish I was still 15 or 16.  I know I will look back years from now and can't believe I said this, but I know it is true.  Being surrounded by older adults can shape you to be a better, smarter person today that if you were still your old self hanging out with kids.

Day of the cops

date:9/1/08
time:11:25pm
place:my room

The night was going perfect until I saw a white car pass me with siren's.  I was so shocked because I was driving 50mph in a 30mph zone.  I asked my friend in the passenger seat if it was definitely a cop, but for sure it was.  I made a left hand turn the next block I seen.. The street was pitch black and I began to sweat.  My initial destination was my friends house, which was only a couple of blocks away.  This quick car ride soon began almost a half an hour long.  I had to come back home but I decided to stay in my friends drive way a little to wait it out.  I wanted to make sure I was free from danger.  Just as I was about to pull out the cop passed, but didn't see me, thanks to my tinted windows.  It was like God had struck me with a miracle.  After a while, I pulled out and started driving back to my house.  Usually coming home takes about 5mins, but I was so paranoid that it felt like and hour.  When I reached my own driveway I was so happy and run straight to my backyard.  I have never gotten pulled over by the cops yet and sure want to keep it that way.
