Skateboarding

The first time I ever got on a skateboard I hated it.  I soon came to realize that I really liked it, so I started practicing.  About 4 or 5 years ago I was really into it with a couple of friends from my block.  I went up to Ricks Surf shop to go and look at some new boards.  They didn't have anything of my liking so I ended up at Special Sauce.  There I found some many nice skateboards for great prices.  I even made friends with some of the people there, they were so nice.  When I got home I road all day, practicing my butt off.  I still had my other skateboard that my other friend gave me, I still remember the name, Alien Workshop.  That was also a great board to use.  When I started doing tricks I became very daring which wasn't too good.  I would try and olie over another skateboards or even two.  Maybe try a kickflip or healflip which was also dangerous.  One day I tried to land an olie over two skateboards.  The first time I tired, I was so excited  because I landed it.  I tried it again and again, but one time it didn't work out too well.  My back wheels hit the street off balance sending myself in a different direction I did not want to go, "back".  I went straight back onto the ground, my left hand hitting the ground first.  Before I got up I knew something was wrong.  My arm was broke and I was in so much shock.  I screamed out "oh my god, I broke my arm"!  Ever since then I never really took skateboarding seriously because I do not need another broken bone.  That just messes up a whole 2 months of your life.  Skateboarding should definitely be take way more seriously.
